About the Job

We are seeking a skilled Plant Manager to join our team and help cultivate effective leadership. In this role, you will be responsible for a range of essential tasks, such as maintaining work and production schedules, hiring and training new employees, and analyzing data to identify areas for improvement. With a keen focus on employee and plant safety, you will ensure production equipment remains in top condition and that production goals and profitability targets are consistently met. Your responsibilities will also include overseeing the performance of workers, technicians, and quality controllers, as well as acting as a bridge between middle management and operations personnel. The Plant Manage collaborates with maintenance and purchasing departments, while overseeing all aspects of the fabrication operation - Production, Shipping, and Quality Control.

Plant Manager Responsibilities:

  5. Issue Resolution and Training: Identifying errors or issues and implementing measures like training and accountability to prevent recurrence will be vital for continuous improvement and a culture of excellence.

  6. Investing in Training and Cross-Training: To promote personal and professional growth, you will schedule and facilitate necessary training and cross-training sessions, ensuring employees have the skills they need to excel.

  7. Adhering to Operational Procedures

  8. Promoting Health and Safety: By implementing and enforcing health and safety procedures, you will create a safe working environment where employees feel valued and cared for.

  9. Driving Process Improvement: Constantly seeking ways to enhance efficiency, you'll identify areas for improvement in the production process and implement solutions to boost productivity and quality.

  10. Cost Estimation and Budget Management

  12. Effective Interdepartmental Communication: Maintaining open lines of communication with other manufacturing departments. Working closely with the HR department, you'll ensure a steady supply of labor, enabling operational continuity and growth.
