As the Quality Control Manager, you will be at the forefront of ensuring the highest standards of quality and craftsmanship in our production. Your expertise will be instrumental in maintaining and improving our reputation for exceptional products.
The Quality Control Manager Responsibilities
- Oversee all aspects of quality control in our manufacturing processes.
- Develop and implement quality assurance policies and procedures.
- Lead, train, and mentor the quality team.
- Implement and maintain quality control procedures for cabinet manufacturing.
- Monitor production processes with the production team to identify and address quality issues.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to ensure compliance with industry standards.
- Continuously improve manufacturing processes to enhance product quality.
- Analyze data to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Provides summarized and real-time quality performance feedback to manufacturing.
- Performs first-article evaluations on all proposed new products and vendors.
- Uses warranty request data and other outside feedback to keep a pulse on installed product quality. Disseminates this information to the production floor as required.
About you
Qualifications & Professional attributes
- Bachelor’s Degree
- 5 years of proven Experience in Quality Management, preferably on cabinetry.
- Detail-oriented with a commitment to excellence.
- The ability to read and interpret engineering drawings is required with basic AutoCad drafting ability preferred.
- Professional certifications in Quality Management or Quality Engineering disciplines are desirable but not required.
