About the Role
You'll use your keen eye for accuracy and details, feel comfortable in a fast paced environment with computer skills to audit cabinet details, juggle priorities, and meet department daily deadlines to optimize continuous improvement of the cabinet business processes involving cabinet plan designs, quotes, orders, measurements and installation documentation.
Primary Responsibilities
- Audit and analyze various cabinet processes for accuracy and completeness:
- Audit all cabinet-related documents in company operating system
- Audit accuracy and completeness of cabinet quotes and orders
- Audit accuracy of quote measures and layouts with the plan Bill of Materials
- Analyze cabinet measures that come back with discrepancies and determine the root cause of the issue and its resolution
- Provide operational oversight as follows:
- Ensures all cabinet quotes/orders flow timely through the process
- Meets two daily deadlines
- Orchestrates an efficient flow of quotes/orders between the cabinet estimating department, the Design Center and Inside Operations
- Execute changes to cabinet plans (per address) in company operating system utilizing the Adobe Pro software
- Monitor, manage and minimize the number of orders that require redraws by Estimating and Design
- Confirm that installers have accurate and complete documents to for a correct and timely
- Monitor group mailbox and provide daily updates on issues to requester until completed
Qualifications & Required Skills
- Detail Oriented, process oriented and analytical
- Previous Adobe Acrobat Pro is a plus
- Ability to multitask effectively while meeting tight deadlines
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Ability to learn, quickly, in a fast paced environment
- Cabinet product knowledge
- Skilled at reading layouts, blue prints & redlines
- Excellent organization skills
- Critical thinking and problem solving skills
- Flexibility to meet daily deadlines
- High School Diploma or GED, some college is a plus
- 3 years’ minimum experience in a customer service or fast paced office environment;
- Support efforts to continuously improve departmental, location and company performance
